ĦCommunicator
The All-In-One Off-Grid Community App
ĦCommunicator is HydraMeshnet’s blackout-resilient radio-mesh ecosystem messenger: a modular All-in-One community app for secure communication, local trade, digital payments, and audio calls — built for crisis regions and for anyone who wants real independence from centralized infrastructure. It’s currently available as a public testnet MVP with core features already working.

Key Features
One App. Multiple Ways to Connect.
HydraMeshnet isn’t “one network” — it’s your choice of links, depending on what’s available:
Bluetooth / Bluetooth LE for people near you (quick, phone-to-phone, local mesh)
ĦConnector LoRaPay or ĦConnector Maxi for long distances via radio mesh (build real regional coverage)
Wi-Fi for home/hotspots
ĦVPN over any available internet when the internet exists (bridge and extend reach)
Why it’s different
Most “offline chat” apps and lightweight mesh tools are designed for small groups and short range, often with very limited hop-scaling in real usage. HydraMeshnet explicitly aims for high hop-scale — including the claim of up to 128 hops even when you’re using Bluetooth/BLE as your local link, and up to 128 hops overall as a network concept.
Core Features you’ll actually feel
End-to-end encrypted messaging + attachments + voice and P2P audio calls
Auto-discovery + global directory (find people/nodes) and store-&-forward (offline peer caching)
Emergency alerts for crisis coordination
Pages (“mesh internet”), maps, and community visibility (announcements)
Wallet & payments plus Marketplace / Shops for local & global exchange inside the mesh
Backup/restore, QR sharing, plugins & customization (beginner + pro modes)
and many features more...
A calm comparison vs. BitChat / Meshtastic / MeshCore
BitChat, Meshtastic, and MeshCore are useful tools for basic offline messaging and DIY mesh experiments. HydraMeshnet’s ĦCommunicator is positioned differently: it’s a whole community operating layer and off-grid meshnet economy stack — combining communication and coordination features and commerce/payment building blocks, with a design emphasis on larger hop-scale and hardware-assisted long-range expansion via ĦConnectors.
